Museums

Museum – Kashubian Ethnographical Park in Wdzydze Kiszewskie is the oldest Polish open air museum. The museum has been developing for years and today presents buildings of an old Kociewska and Kashubian village, from the 18th to the first half of the 20th century. There are about 40 objects within an area of 22 ha. One of the museum’s advantages is its location by Lake Gołuń. The museum is an attractive place during the whole year, particularly for those who like silence and nature. Every year Wdzydze Fair is organized (the 3rd weekend of July). During the fair folk artists present their embroideries, weaving products, wickerwork and sculptures. Another attraction is a living open-air museum.
